The Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC) is an international professional society founded in 1884 with headquarters in Bradford, UK. The SDC is the outstanding provider of education and community engagement for those studying and working with colour. This educational charity offers courses and qualifications in colour, especially in textiles.
The Fellowship of the SDC (FSDC) is the only professional qualification for colourists worldwide. Fellowship is awarded to those individuals who have demonstrated their distinction in the knowledge or practice of colour science or colour technology upon the recommendation of the Education, Qualification, and Accreditation Board of SDC.
Trustee Board of SDC has awarded Associate Professor Dr. Mohammad Tajul Islam the Fellowship of the SDC (FSDC) in recognition of his outstanding contribution to textile colouration.
