Students are required to undertake eight-week long training in the Textile industry (Yarn Manufacturing Unit/Fabric Manufacturing Unit/Wet Processing Unit/Apparel Manufacturing Unit). The objective is to provide hands-on experience to the final year students from this training. The students must have to see and observe all the functions of that industry. It is also an opportunity for students to develop initiative, self-reliance, creative ability, and engineering judgment. Thus the students have got another scope to make a relation between the theory and the professional activities. The total findings must be submitted in a comprehensive report with appropriate drawings, charts, bibliography, etc., and undergone academic evaluation process by an evaluation board comprising of four faculty members.
