The project team of ‘’Chair for Sustainability and Textile Innovation Management at AUST’’ organizes its first academic workshop on 14 January 2021 to share its syllabus development progress followed by receiving feedback and suggestions for further syllabus improvement on Textile Sustainability. The workshop was modarated by the Chair's partner university UNU-FLORES and cooperated by AUST and TU Dresden. The workshop opened by giving a brief introduction and presenting background of the AUST-GIZ-ES project followed by a motivational speech from Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice-Chancellor, AUST. Afterward, the workshop ahead with the detailed presentation of updated syllabus to the academic experts from Department of Textile Engineering of AUST, TUD, FH Magdeburg, University of Kassel, TU Chemnitz, University of Hof, Water Integrity Network, Higher Education Centre Saxony and other participating institions. Finally, the workshop ended with a rigorous discussion on developed modules by the attended experts. The experts provided their positive feedback on such a well developed syllabus for the future textile engineer. They also suggested to integrate governance, policymaking, stakeholder perspective and cost analysis regarding the sustainability and textile industry.
