We are pleased to announce that Dr. Mohammad Tajul Islam, Associate Professor in the Department of Textile Engineering, has been appointed to the International Editorial Board of Tekstilec, a prestigious international journal in the field of textiles.

With a 68-year legacy, Tekstilec is a highly regarded journal indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. It serves as a platform for cutting-edge research in textile science, materials, and innovations.

Dr. Tajul has been actively reviewing for Tekstilec for several years and has witnessed firsthand the journal’s commitment to maintaining high research integrity and quality. He expressed his enthusiasm for this new role, stating:

The Editor-in-Chief’s dedication to maintaining the journal’s standards made it an easy decision for me to accept this invitation. In addition to this new role, Dr. Tajul Islam has been serving on the editorial boards of two other major journals—Coloration Technology and Clothing and Textiles Research Journal (CTRJ). Coloration Technology, published by Wiley, is one of the leading journals in the field of textile coloration, while CTRJ, published by Sage, is the official peer-reviewed journal of the International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA).
