Textile Engineering

A training session titled “CV Writing and Professional Behavior” was held on February 8, 2023 at MH Khan Multipurpose Hall, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) for the students of the second-year second semester to the fourth-year second semester of the Department of Textile Engineering. This session jointly organized by Department of Textile Engineering, AUST and AUST Textile Alumni Association (AUSTAA).

The Vice-Chancellor of AUST, Professor Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi was present as the chief guest and the session was chaired by the Head of the Textile Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Lal Mohan Baral. The trainers for the workshop were Ms. Sarker Sabia Sharmin, Deputy CEO of Fair Ad, and Mr. Mosannef Hossain Bhuiya, MD, MTM, who addressed topics on developing strong CVs and professional behavior, respectively. The Vice-Chancellor of AUST, Professor Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi mentioned that although it is not covered in the curriculum, it is an important subject. He hoped that everyone would find this guidance useful in their careers. Professor Dr. Lal Mohan Baral, who presided over the training, praised the instructors for giving up valuable time from a hectic schedule. He intended to focus more on how AUST's students and alumni may share their practical expertise and knowledge to have a bigger impact on Bangladesh's textile sector. About 350 students and faculty members thoroughly enjoyed the lively and interactive session made by the trainers.
