Dr. A.K.M. Mobarok Hossain, Associate Professor of Department of Textile Engineering presented his research titled “Mathematical modeling of dynamic yarn tension of a circular knitting machine with positive feeding system” at the 50th IFKT Congress –Knitting for a sustainable future, that took place from 31 August to 02 September 2022. The conference was hosted by the Ulster University at its Belfast campus in Northern Ireland and held through a hybrid mode (both face to face as well as virtually). The IFKT conference in knitting technology provides an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, and industry to exchange new ideas and practical experiences from a diverse range of knitting expertise. In the 50th IFKT congress a total of 16 research papers were selected for presentation and world famous knitting experts like Yordan Kyosev, Hitesh Sharma, Alenka Pavko-Cuden and many others joined the conference and presented their research papers.
