Textile Engineering

A group of 62 final year students of Yarn Manufacturing Stream of DTE (Department of Textile Engineering), AUST was leaded by Associate Professor Engr. Jamal Hossen, Assistant Professor Mr. Shahriar Raian, Lecturer Mr. Amit Chakrabortty and Lecturer Mr. Md. Redwanul Islam of the same department were visited the AKIJ Textile Mills Ltd. situated at Golora, Chakhanda, Manikgonj, Bangladesh on 22^nd June, 2022. Engr. Md. Shafiqul Islam, Assistant General Manager QAD, Mr. Rayhan Kabir Jewle, Manager, ATML. and the employees of the factory guided the students during factory visit. In the visit, students got the opportunity to know about the recent advancement in machinery and processes of Spinning processes. At the end of the visit, AGM of the factory shared his working experience and enlightened the visiting students about the prospects of Spinning which, they could take as upcoming career.
