The ACI AUST Student Chapter successfully hosted "Research Dissemination 2.0" on 31st July, 2025, a seminar highlighting the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Structural Engineering. The event featured by Mr. Khan Abid Ahsan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at AUST as the keynote speaker.

During the seminar, Mr. Ahsan shared valuable insights on how AI is transforming the field by optimizing design processes, enhancing predictive modelling, and automating complex calculations to minimize human error. He effectively demonstrated AI's practical applications through key findings from his own research, which included Deep Learning, Ensembled Machine Learning Models, and Database Generation.

The seminar was highly informative and well-attended by students and faculty, who participated actively. Mr. Ahsan’s expertise offered a clear roadmap for integrating AI into structural engineering, successfully inspiring attendees to explore this cutting-edge field further. The event marked a notable success for the ACI AUST Student Chapter.
