On January 17, 2026, the AUST Civil Engineering Society (ACES), Batch একাত্রয় 49, successfully organized a picnic titled “একাত্রয় ঐক্যোল্লাস” at the Rajendro Eco Resort in Gazipur. The event was precisely planned to provide participants with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the serene beauty of nature. The picnic saw an overwhelming turnout, with approximately 650 attendees, including current students, faculty members, and distinguished alumni from various batches. The day-long program featured a diverse range of recreational activities designed to engage attendees of all ages and interests. Key highlights of the event included traditional games such as cockfighting and pillow passing, which evoked nostalgia and encouraged team spirit. Additionally, a friendly cricket match was organized, further enhancing the spirit of sportsmanship among participants. The event also included a raffle draw, followed by a formal prize distribution ceremony, which added an element of excitement and celebration. As the day transitioned into evening, a DJ-led party was held, creating an energetic and vibrant atmosphere that brought together students and faculty in a shared moment of joy and festivity. The picnic not only succeeded in providing a refreshing break from the rigors of academic life but also played a pivotal role in strengthening the bond between students and their mentors.
