Checkmate or if properly named “Ha-Meem Group presents Checkmate: A Battle of Strategic Minds” was a much anticipated National Business Case Competition organized by the AUST Career Development Club. With the collaboration of reputed clubs like Bizbee, BLC, IUT CBS, YES (Youth Entrepreneurs Society), etc. the event started on the 3rd of July 2023 as more than 300+ teams from all over the nation registered to compete for the prestigious prize pool. The competition was judged by the executives of many renowned institutions like bKash Limited, Unilever Bangladesh Limited, Shikho, BAT Bangladesh, etc. The top 8 teams were invited to present their cases in the final round on the AUST Campus and the round was a must-see as their efforts were an inspiration for all attendees present. Amidst all the line of work and hectic schedule throughout a series of times, the event was surely a successful one and will surely set a benchmark for the future on how to arrange and make an event a success.
