 7. ADMISSION TEST

 

Only short listed candidates will be allowed to sit for the Admission Test. The short lists will be prepared based on the results of the candidates in their SSC & HSC or equivalent examinations.

Before preparing the short list, the FF and RA candidates will need to prove their candidature to the Admission Committee. The date of verification of FF and RA applications is 21 August 2017.  The FF and RA candidates will receive SMS notification for this through Teletalk as noted below:

 
i)

Each applicant of the FF quota will receive the message: "You must bring your parent's freedom fighter documents at the time of appearing before the Admission Committee of AUST on 21.08.2017 at 9:00 am".

   
ii)

Each applicant of RA quota will receive the message: "You must bring the copies of testimonials from your school and/or college and residency certificate at the time of appearing before Admission Committee of AUST on 21.08.2017 at 9:00 am".

 

The shortlist of candidates for Admission Test of GL, FF, RA and GCE groups will be published on 27 August 2017 in the University Notice Board and website. The Admission Test Roll No. of all the eligible candidates will also be published along with the short list. There will be an MCQ type Admission Test on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English from HSC syllabus for the candidates seeking admission to Engineering Faculty (Architecture and all Engineering programs) on 16 September 2017 at 9.00 am in the AUST campus

For BBA program there will be no Admission Test.

All the eligible candidates for Admission Test will receive the following message from Teletalk: "You are selected for Admission Test on 16 September 2017 at 9.00 am. You must bring your Admit Card /Application Receipt." 

Candidates must bring their Admit Card/Application Receipt, downloaded from Teletalk along with a recent colored PP size photograph, for SSC & HSC candidates, and counter part of Application Form for GCE candidates, at the time of Admission Test without which they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Candidates must remember their Admission Test Roll No. and Admit Card/Application Receipt ID No.
